Corbin Speedometers

Long before the first production Stewart-Warner speedometer (appeared 1936 on OHV models later known as the Knucklehead), it was possible to order a speedometer from Harley-Davidson as an accessory - at extra cost. The parts - like those for competitor Indian and other brands - were manufactured by the Corbin Screw Corporation in New Britain, Connecticut. The accessory set consisted of the instrument itself, the drive cable and angle gear, phenolic gear, and the cast split sprocket for the spokes, plus a few small parts.

Unfortunately, the instruments are no longer available new, but we can offer you the drive, cable and attachment parts as a high quality reproductions. By the way, the total gear ratio is 3.4.
